Earlier Iranian documents are issued in the name “Soleymani Tehrani”. The change to “Tehrani” is evidenced by a certificate under § 46 PStV; a certified English translation exists and is sent on request.

Iranian bar admission

Admission Iranian law

First-grade attorney (Vakil-e Paye Yek), Iranian Central Bar Association, Tehran. Licence no. 31186, issued 2008 and renewed since. The admission covers representation and advice under Iranian law.

How to check this yourself. The admission is maintained by the Iranian Central Bar Association; the number can be verified there. On request you also receive an original bar certificate with a certified English translation — the proof courts and firms abroad normally require.

Registration in Germany

German Legal Services Register German framework

Registered as a provider of legal services in a foreign law: Iran, under § 10 (1) 1 no. 3 RDG, with the Federal Office of Justice. File reference VII 5 - 2026 0003 1076.

The Legal Services Register is public. Its search accepts the file reference as a criterion — the quickest route to this exact entry. Alternatively you can search by name and area.

What the registration means — and what it does not. It permits legal services in Iranian law. It is not admission as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany and does not cover advice on German law. Anyone with a German legal question needs a German lawyer.

Check it yourself — in four steps

  1. Open the German Legal Services Register (rechtsdienstleistungsregister.de).
  2. Enter the file reference VII 5 - 2026 0003 1076 in the search — or the surname “Tehrani” with the area “legal services in a foreign law”.
  3. The result shows the registered person, the area (foreign law: Iran) and the competent authority.
  4. If in doubt: ask the Federal Office of Justice directly, quoting the file reference. No confirmation from me is needed for that.

Professional indemnity and evidence pack

Insurance German framework

Professional indemnity insurance is in place as required by § 12 (1) no. 3 RDG. The mandatory particulars under § 2 (1) no. 11 DL-InfoV — insurer and geographical scope — are provided in text form before a contract is concluded and are available on request at any time.

The complete evidence pack German framework

Courts, notaries, instructing firms and compliance departments receive, on request and in one go: the registration confirmation and register extract from the Federal Office of Justice, the bar certificate of the Iranian Central Bar Association with a certified English translation, proof of insurance, and the certificate on the name. Request informally by email.

Why this page is so plain. It is not part of the site’s presentation but a tool: whoever opens it holds a document and wants to know whether it stands. Nothing appears here that cannot be checked.
